The Moon On Next Morrow's Nigh (for november eve) 28/10/96 9:21 pm Charles Dum http://people.enternet.com.au/~havok/moonon.htm (Caer Australia) The early morning fog is nigh, And Surely it covers all. So while the veil is at its thinnest, Make feast and have a ball. You see the moon shine, Brighter than your hall. In its light we dance our best, To answer its mighty call. For deep within is, aye, We know that if we don't we'll fall. And fall we will, if we must, 'Ere we be kin to a rag doll. Someone pulling on our strings tight, To make us not look gall. The life reflected is our nest, Which rubs tight against the wall. For we construct the wall with might, And make it stand tall. That we might let our opposites rest, While re romp and cajole. So as you look to the moon next morrow's night, Let your eyes wander, yes you all. For the moon gives us strength during our fest, And drink another glass, for me at your ball.
