Requiem 23/5/98 11:48- FINISHED 24/5/98 MIDNIGHT Charles Dum The sound of water falling from above As a little trickle drips down. Take a minute and just relax To it's gentle sound. Drip, drop Falling leaf by leaf- Blink your eyes and you'll miss it, It's moment is brief. But bask in it's glory, Let it tell you it's story- And you'll be glad you did. Let different light stream in, In the coloured strobe get a grin- Or else you'll wish you'd hid. For the reaper of souls Who takes all with indifference Is knockin' on my door- Ha already tore down my fence. Took out the dog, Dead bolt's unlocked- Rest of the family gone They were so shocked. So here's my requiem- My last farewell! I've had my fun, Can't you tell?
