Frozen Wasteland (of my mind) 14/1/98 8:06 am Charles Dum I stare out into the ice But what do I see? A frozen group of snowmen All their fixed faces staring at me, Did I build them? I do not know Yet they still are there But melted- went with the snow. I still see their eyes, Hidden stares in the ice. They don't leave me alone, Staring through the clear sky. I don't see their face And it bothers me so. For I built them up myself, Made their snowman bodies shimmer and glow. They stare coldy, Without feeling or care. Just like you my friend Like me. . . Do you dare?
