Tied Up In Knots

 Do you dare to gaze
 At the trench of my soul?
 You think to mend it
 While you begin to meddle and toil.
 
 I don't think you can undo
 The knot it is tied up in-
 For the many people laughing at me
 Just a new knot each time.
 
 If you must,
 You can try to untangle,
 All the twists and turns
 But that road is full of danger.
 
 You'll try with all your might,
 But you'll fail each time.
 For believe me,
 I've tried.
 
 Though by myself,
 It would be much harder-
 Better than the knots,
 You must be much smarter.
 
 So as you look,
 Just remember-
 It's tied up in knots,
 If you try you'll just dismember.
